this is a good item, it does what it says on the tin, it helps keep the underneath of the bike cleaner and improves handling. very happy with this purchase.

I had mine for about 2-Months NOW! WILL NOT LEAVE HOME Without it! I knew it would be good for keeping the engine clean, but when told about the handling improovement; i would NOT have believed it. To Install this. 1). Get small jack stands to help hold in place (may not need it, but they help).2). I would say strongly to tie in the back (using the clamps provided) first (this is the hardest trick. Then tie in the front of the pan as the instructions say to do it. You may want to get bigger Clamps (Electrical Conduit) to use if standard clamps are too tight to fit over the frame tubing. But your Goldwing will cut throught the Wind,quiets gound noise, much more stable ride; I could NOT believe it! (Ted)

I can't imagine not having this piece. Easy to install (and remove if needed) but keeps a lot of dirt and grime from the under side of the bike. I take it off yearly just to wash it and see the difference.

Around my house there some speed bumps I was always bottoming out on so opted for this. Nowing this doesnt do the job of "Armour Plating" I still figure that it's gotta help. Tokyo stop and go traffic with the bike seemed hotter this year with the pan on. Seems to reason that the natural "heat rises" cooling effect is lost. Now I see that the new one has slotted ventilation on the front end... Hmmm... Time to break out the Dewalt. Other than that I give it a 4 stars for the minor alignment difficulties during installation. Could it be the latest version has resolved that as well?

Ok. I like. I was a little skeptical at first, but the wind shear is better by the trucks and the first few times you hear the road debris hit it you'll be glad you got it!

I put this on a notice no more wind movement under the bike anymore. Nice feature.

Don't leave home without this item! I just returned from a 13,500 mile trip to Alaska. Yes all the way to Deadhorse and back to PA. When I returned and examined the belly pan, I could not believe the beating it had taken. I know I would have had problems if I had not installed this product.
