Works well for air movement, but really hard after a few long miles. Hooks hold well, but are big and awkward and rub the legs. Also not nearly large enough for driver's seat. But it fits perfect on the passenger's

This may help make you cooler, but the wooden beads make for a hard seat. I just completed a 3,000 mile ride with temperatures from 52 to 108. On the first day, while crossing the Nevada desert at 106 degrees, I took this off after 200 miles because it was starting to hurt my butt. I rode the rest of the trip on the stock seat and was much more comfortable.

Tried it today, in mid-80's, worked as advertised, could feel air flow. I have a sheep-skin that can get a little warm in hot weather so will switch to this for summer. Should definitely be larger. Cover didn't get hot sitting out in sun even though it is black.

Here in Nevada temps get into the 100’s I installed this product yesterday, you do feel air flow under you. It seem to keep my back side from sweating and a little cooler, BUT sadly it is no where near as comfortable as the seat itself. I don’t know if I could ride for very many hours on it. I guess it’s a give and take… ride without a sweaty back side and be uncomfortable, or ride with a sweaty, hot and sticky back side and still be uncomfortable but able to ride on longer trips.. For the price it ok, and for hot days and short 1 hr. trips its ok. If it was made with s soft foam or rubber coating, and a little larger to make it more comfortable then it would be well worth it.

I think I liked it at first. But on a recent trip (2,500+ miles) it spent most of the time in the trunk. I bought two... the wife doesn't like it at all. Not good at all in the rain... water puddles up under the beads. You kind of get tired of it after a while. But it's cheap enough to give it a try.

I LOVE Texas and our 100 degree days! I cant say the same for my butt. This gadget works great! I too wish it covered the entire seat but it still works good for me (185 lbs). I am a little nervous about the mono-filament line that sews it all together though. We will see how long it lasts....Definitely worth $11

Qualified update - Got tired of it not fitting seat but it fits great and provides very good circulation on my Utopia seat back. The straps fit fine under the pouch; looks like it was made for it. (BTW, went with sheepskin on seat.)

To small for me but my wife likes them. Definately keeps your butt a little cooler. Just wish they covered the entire seat.

I definitely had an annoyance with a hot sticky form fitting crotch wrap.
The beaded seat cover *really* works well at solving that problem. You can literally feel the breeze in your drawers.
However the seat is too small to cover the seat properly. The hooks on the ends of the elastic straps are a very bad design. I'm afraid they will damage my seat after a while. I would like it if they fixed the hooks so that they sere flatter and better shaped to fit around the vinyl seat edge without damaging it or sticking out.

Seems to work, some circulation, and it gives a bit firmer seat. It can be slick particularly when braking hard. It is NOWHERE NEAR the size of the photo sample, which is definitely misrepresenting the cover. Two of the metal hooks have pulled off the elastic and caused me to repair them. I'm sure there's something better out there.

NOT BIG ENOUGH. PUT 2 TOGETHER FOR SEAT TO GO UP SEAT BACKREST. WORKED OUT GOOD. GOT ANOTHER ONE AND PUT IT ON BACKREST. KEEPS BACK AND SEAT FROM SWEATING ON LONG RIDES AND I SOMETIMES TAKE SOME LONG RIDES. DID NOT USE THE CORDS THAT CAME WITH IT. DIDN,T LIKE THE METAL HOOKS. MADE MY OWN HOLDERS. WOULDN,T RIDE WITHOUT EM.

Been riding with it for a few months now and really have not seen any cooling affect as a result, especially on hot muggy days. It does help slightly on long rides by preventing my butt from sinking to much in the seat giving a slightly firmer ride, which helped in a recent ride of 500Miles in 12hrs. But it does not perform as I was expecting.

This does ciculate cool air under your butt while you ride. I agree it does feel better on short rides. I gave four stars because of the size of the item. In the picture it appears to fit the entire seat but it does not. It may feel even better if it did fit the whole seat.

These helped on short rides in the summer; I could feel some cooling air circulation. But on long rides they are a very hard surface, which my old butt didn't like.

Got this due to the seat getting hot here in Florida. The beaded seat is smaller than the picture. Would like to have had the size in the main picture. But does do a decent job of keeping thing cooler.

After reading such great reviews, I purchased two. You may not think of PA. as getting hot but it does. Road 219 miles on Sat. to a CMA State rally, don't know how I would have made it w/o these.

When I first received this item in the mail and looked at it I thought that maybe I had made a mistake - it looked too small and pretty simple - too simple to make much of a difference. After riding in record breaking heat here in Atlanta for two weeks with it, I have to say I am quite surprised. It does keep your backside cooler and when it rains it also lifts you out of the puddle that tends to collect in the seat, which in turn helps keep you drier. It also reduces the fanny fatigue factor considerably. I just got back from a 250 plus mile day trip into the mountains and my backside feels better than it ever has after such a trip. A whole lot of bang for the buck. I give it four stars only because it doees not fit the 1800 seat perfectly - it's a tad small for my liking, but this does not affect the comfort it provides. A great accessory to have on the bike.

LOVE IT!!! I rode 75 miles in the Phoenix heat today (temperature according to my display varied from 111 to 113). When I was done riding, my butt was still dry! I could feel some air circulating while I road. No "sweat through" with the seat cover on. IMO this is a real winner!
