We just completed an 1,100 mile trip through the Texas Hill Country. I have mine mounted on top of the Lower Cowl Covers just above my Fog Lamps. We passed quite a few dear that were behind high fences. They all looked up and watched us as we were passing. I have to assume it was the alerts. I don't know if they work but for the price it can't hurt to have them.

Have these on as a safety edition. Haven't had the pleasure of seeing them in effect yet, but better safe than sorry.

Wind powered was not enough. I was riding through CA north of Bishop 3 am when I saw a deer in my lane frozen. I pilled over and stopped and it was still there. I hit the horn and it bolted. Next time I will try the electronic version.

Live in south east Texas, deer country. They work have seen many deer and dogs run off insted of charging. Placed mine under fog lights in open air duct. Almost hid, but they work. snafu

PUT THESE ON MY BIKE, A FEW WEEKS LATER WAS RIDING BY THE GLOBAL WILDLIFE CENTER IN FOLSOM, LOUISIANA. WIFE AND I NOTICED ALL THE DEER,ZEBRAS,BISON,ETC. SEEM TO BE HAVE THEIR HEADS WATCHING US AS WE RODE PASS, ASK WIFE IF SHE NOTICE THAT THEY WE WATCHING US SHE SAID YES, WONDERING WHY, A FEW MILES DOWN THE ROAD I REMEMBER THAT I HAD THEM ON THE BIKE,,,WHEN RIDING BACK HOME PASSED AGAIN.. SAME THING....

We travel to the Land Between the Lakes often and there are deer everywhere. I hope they work because we haven't hit one yet thank god!

I Live 60 miles from yellowstone Park and i see animals stop in there tracks if im going over 45 miles an hour,but at slower speeds i think they just add a chrome look to the bike,not enough wind to make them whistle for the "sound" to travel threw them !!!!! But i still like the fact that they do work a little,and a little means alot when it's you against them and your trying to keep your wheels up on the road !!!

This are a cheap way to avoid hitting a deer hopfully. You know what will happen if you hit a deer. Your cycle and possibly you will be in a bunch of hurt.

Very nice item,easy to install,mounted above my fog lights.Living here in P.A. we see a lot of deer on the road so if they keep the deer out of my way,I'm Happy.Very inexpensive item,for the job that they do.

These are a must if you live in area with large deer population as I am here in Pa. Although even if you don't it seems that we always are riding those pretty back roads and you never know when you maybe coming across those pesty creators that like to walk or even run out in front of you. They do work, isn't aday that I don't see a deer even on my way to work. Safer with then without. Actually have seen them stop in their tracks when I approach . Ride safe !!

Not as big as i thought they would be. About size of little finger. Mounted them above fog lights. You can see them, but have to for them to work. Not really in way to wash bike. Had to have in East Texas. Deer like to joust here.

Easy to install. Make sure you put them on so you can slide the whistle out of the mount once installed. Directional arrow on the whistle will help you figure out which way they go. Haven't seen a deer since I installed them, but then again, I live in los Angeles. When people ask what they are, I tell them they are Lasers for cars that get in my way.

I had a set of these on my 83 aspencade. I never had a problem with deer or any other animals. May this year I traded my 83 off and got a 91 aspencade. It didnt have any whistles on it. I didnt think to much about it. But Oct 29th this year I hit a deer, I didnt go down, but it still totaled the bike out. I have bought a 98 SE and a set of these are on it. I think these could save your life. I got very very lucky, 84.7% of people die in motorcycle vs deer and I am not willing to ride without these on a bike.

I cannot believe that I put it this on backwards! But, w/this slide type base, you can slide the whistle part out & turn it around & nobody knows your dumb error. Now that I have these I just have to watch out for slow moving cows.
