Great addition to the bike especially when everything else with pads is Kuryakyn to create a nice matched look. Cons: As stated they do weigh a significant amount from the OEM boards Pros: They look great, and they fold out, how cool is that?!

Heres one for the "Boyz" to get a kick out of. Try to do something nice for the wife and it backfires. When I bought these and put them on the first thing she says is "How much were those? What was wrong with the others?... Well that was a waste 'cause I'm just not gonna use the other position!" LOL, she is still true to her word and wont fold them out. Oh well, the kid's getting good use out of them and I like the style. The part that surprized me was the weight. They must be 20lbs each. And yes, I had to get my own bolts to fit too.

I love your product and it is a neccessary addition for my wife's comfort. As far as installation goes. I was shipped a product that was returned. It wasn't in the best of condition and I had no instruction for installation so I went online for those. I would have returned them myself for a new product but I waited them for three weeks and I needed for a long trip I was taking. I agree with others who think you should get all new hardware for intall because on older bikes it makes them look less attractive.

I had no difficulty with installation on these. They are a definate must for my passenger. Besides the normal 3 inch adjustment I have, the added flip up gives my wife a good deal of latitude in how she wants to ride. The quality of appearance is a huge plus.

These look great (and are almost a necessity) if you've got lots of chrome aft of the engine. I agree with others that Kuryakyn should have included all the parts necessary to make this a bolt-on bolt-off affair. (You must reuse parts from your existing floorboards.) Installation is straightforward though and I didn't need to purchase any additional parts as one of the other reviewers claimed. My only complaint is that the rubber isn't even across the surface of the floorboard. The rearward peices of rubber are noticably thicker than the rest.

QUALITY OF PRODUCT IS SUPER HOWEVER THE INSTRUCTIONS SAY TO USE EXISTING BOLTS TO INSTALL BOARDS, THIS WILL NOT WORK DUE TO THE FACT THE NEW BOARD BRACKETS ARE THICKER AND STOCK BOLTS WILL NOT BE LONG ENOUGH TO ATTACH THE BOARDS TO THE FRAME, WHY THEY SEND 4 BOLTS THAT ARE SHORTER THAN THE ORGINIAL ONES I'LL NEVER KNOW, SO BEFORE YOU ATTEMPT TO PUT THESE BOARD ON GO TO HOME DEPOT ANF GET #8'S METRIC 1 1/4 SO YOU CAN COMPLETE INSTALLATION.
