Love this rack for its sharp look and functionality. Adds some class to the trunk and leaves room for the spoiler.

It's amazing that a company like Kuryakyn will sell a product with no instructions. I emailed them and they sent me the instructions for the 1800 which to my understanding is a different installation because on the 1800 you have to remove the inside skin of the trunk lid. I've installed the rack but have absolutely no idea if the inner skin was supposed to be removed on the 1500. I assume not because it seemed to be tight against the outer lid but who knows. It does look great though and the installation too about 30 minutes. Make sure you put masking tape on the outside of the trunk to protect the paint, Also measure 19 times, then drill.
