Fitted great to my wifes HJC SY-MAX II flip front helmet. Speakers fit great in my Scorpion EXO 100 half helmet. Problem is the clamping system for the socket and mic sucks. My EXO 100 rim is too thick, cannot clamp the wires and mic at all. The inside of the plastic clamp can not go all the way down. Not sure about return policy as I had to cut cheap plastic bubble packaging,

This is the second set of J&M headsets I have owned and OH MY GOD what an improvement!!! They sound fantastic, it's now a toss up for listening to music, speakers......Headset....HMMM. Let the wife decide!!

I have bought a couple for my wife and me. it work very well,very clear sound and good quality during the riding. for music i prefer the external speakers

Sound quality is good. Mic is pretty sensitive. Speakers don't fit very well in the half helmet ac-21. Attaching the clip to the helmet is a bit of a chore but not so terrible.

I have purchased two set this headset, they fit very well for open face helmet and be installed just in 20 minutes. But for flip full face, speakers are too big to install and I replace them with my old headphone's speakers (Philips - only about 1/2 thickness) and work very well. The other problem I have is the mic is too big and I have to bend it beside my left eye when I close my flip to use it. But any way, they are very good headset and cheap, especially when your helmet has enough space. And, the most important is that my wife love them and judged the buying as “A Good Purchase”

My first headset, does everything I want it to and now i don't have to worry about police pulling me over for my radio being too load.

Bought this to go in my son's Vega flip full face helment. Good fit all the way around, once I losened up the foam liner from the exterior shell. It was a major PITA to cut out the foam liner to recess the ear pieces, but that's the only way it would work with his helmet. Wish I had known about this product before I bought the Hondaline headset from the dealer for my helmet...much more favorable price and sounds just as good or better. Really like the smaller mic over the Hondaline product too.

I must agree with the past reviews. The clamp on this headset is a major pain in the backside. I had to make some modification to my Nolan 102. I can only hope that it fits better on other helmets. This one had me cussing. After making two cuts on the plastic band around the bottom of the helmet, I got it to come together. Now….it looks good and now I can enjoy the fruits of my labor. The headset sounds really good and the mic output is super. This set replaced my Air Rider. I loved the Air Rider but other riders could not hear me without yelling into the mic. My wife and son also ride and having that communication is paramount. I drop to 4 stars based on the mount alone. Again, after installation was completed I might go to 5 stars because the quality is far better than my old Air Rider.

Installed the set in an HJC Symac and it works well. Sound quality is "tinny". Clamp system works but if you screw too tightly the clamp bar inside the helmet will bend and it doesn't come back to original.

I bought two of these before being snubbed by JM about my combination GPS/phone/radar harness. I swore I would never own another JM product. BUT, this headset is great. I wear a half helmet and a friend's wife sewed a velcro patch to the `Y' part of my helmet straps for me. So the speakers sit right on my ears. Superior bass and sound, and I can easily hear everything that goes on around me in the real world. Other riders hear me loud and clear on the cb, and I hear them perfectly. So I installed the 2nd set in my full face. Since the speakers sit 1 1/2" off my ears, the sound sucks. So I am installing a pad of foam to put the speakers closer to my ears. I would spend my money on this unit.

Installed in my full face HJC hellmet. Installation was fairly easy. Some cutting into the foam behind the ear cushion is required in order to allow the speaker to recess correctly. The mic is slim enough that it does not interfear when the helmet is put on and removed. All of the slack wire is easily tucked up under the helmet liner. The sound quality is great! (REMEMBER: The sound is optimized when the speakers are enclosed. If the speakers are left open, as in some open face installations, the sound quality is diminished). For the price, this is an excellent buy!

Great Sound and Great price!!! Easy to install and now my wife and I can almost whisper to each other and hear each other at whatever speed.

Great sound quality, but it doesn't fit all helmets. My helmet required doing some cutting to the liner, and it still makes donning/removing the helmet difficult now. Ear pieces fit too tightly to my head.

I have been using the 257un headset for 3 mos. Great sound & quality. Have tried other sets, Best I've ever used...

I wasn't all that happy until I put a spacer inside the helmet to get the headphones closer to my ears. Now, very impressive for the price.

Nice headset. Didn't want to spend the money for a top of the line model. My friend purchased one of these and is very happy with it, so I thought I'd give it a try. I am very pleased with the sound quality. I don't listen to the music much in the headset...I prefer it over the speakers, but the intercom and CB sound quality are much better on this headset than the old J&M I was using before. My riding buddies have commented on the improved sound quality when I transmit over the CB using this headset. Don't forget the lower cord!

We have these in our modular helmets and when we bought our new open face helmets I tried the lower model but had to buy these again due to the great sound quality. I had an upper cable go bad on one of our older helmets and J&M changed out under warranty with no problems. Great headsets from 2 great companies.

Had this set for about 3 years. Loved them till the small pins broke off inside the connection. Lost the mic. only way to replace is buy new upper cord and helmet base attachemnt. I ride in all kinds of weather so figured moisture got in and corroded the pins causing the break. Otherwise great system. Pins also broke on the 3/4 helmet system.

This was easy to install and has great sound. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is that the upper cord failed after only a few days of use. However, I was near Tucson so I called the company and when I stopped by they checked it out and replaced the cord. Good as new and sounds great.

These Headsets are Great! The installation instructions I thought where lousy, they wanted me to start cutting on my helmets, my helmets didn’t need to be cut, no directions for that… But the Headsets have good clear sound
