Very easy to install. I bought the armrest at the same time and installed both you hate to drill holes but no prblem with the premarked spots on the inside of the trunk. You just got to trust Honda on that one. I haven't bought the CB yet but the antenna looks great and balances the rear of the bike. " Thanks Wingstuff."

easy to install, but the bolts are to short if you have armrest already installed, other than that ,took about 20 min.

Great antenna, took about 15 min to install. I see no difference in this one and the higher priced antenna. Save the money and buy this one.

Simple to install, make sure you clean the ground properly or else you may get noise on the CB with high voltage lines.

Easy install. Just measure twice start with the smallest drill bit possible. The only problem was getting the rubber around the antenna into the middle hole.

Easy to install, had to work the rubber around the coax through the center 3/8 hole but fits snug for a tight seal. No problems routing it down under the seat and into the trunk… I don’t have the C/B radio yet, but like the even balance it gives to the over all appearance of the Goldwing
Well worth the price.

Instuctions supplied with antenna are woefully inadequate for non-mechanical person. Goldwing nuts/bolts are metric. Bolts with kit are metric. Center(ed) hole for coax cable MUST BE 9/16" for clearance! The bolt (stud) holding base to (middle) part of antenna MUST BE attached to base using (larger) allen wrench (supplied) BEFORE attaching and aligning middle part of antenna. Motorola female connection would not pass through available hole behind Rear Side Pocket until reamed out with 3/8" bit.
Haven't hooked up a CB yet.. Hope all the installation pain was worth it!

Not a bad antenna,
BUT spring for the extra cash and get the Honda one.
The fit and finish are just not up to Honda Quality.

Purchased the antenna for balance. I did not like the single antenna look. Planning on buying the C.B. unit, however I have to save a few more bottle caps. It's not cheap.

Works well with the Honda CB. Transmits & receives as good or better than my buddies with OEM antennas.

fairly simple install and works well with the cb and looks good. The set screw on the uppe lock for the upper part of the antenna striped out first time I tried to tighten it....
if I have to replace it any time I'll go with the OEM...

Installed this antenna w/kuryakan swing arm rest, As with other reviewers i just installed the antenna without the CB, Will purchase it soon. CB Looks just as good as the antenna, & matches perfectly, just be careful when installing the screw they send are too short on the left side, even the ones with the arm rest only grab by 1/8" best to go out & match it up with a longer bolt. But the antenna looks great, will write back after CB installed

Nice looking antenna and works fine. I am a little picky and can tell, though, that this is not OEM. Feels a little cheaper at the point where you release it to stow the mast. Still, a good bargain but I'd probably go OEM next time.
