I'm on my 5th rear and 3rd front I just placed another order for the next set. I never had a tire related issue with the Stones. The Traxxion suspention, Kuryakyn fork brace and a good tire equals no wobble. The best part is the front tire wares so well it never cups. When the rear starts to growl a bit in the twilight of its life, turn up the radio

After getting a whopping 9k miles out of my E3's, I decided to try something different. I'm very impressed. Heck, my wife is even impressed! Very noticable smoothness and lighter steering compared to the E3's. I went with the 70-series rear. It's nice having a correct speedo. Lower gears are much more usable. This review is based on 2k miles of use. I sure hope they go the distance.

Follow-up on previous review. I have over 12,000 miles now and have enjoyed these tires the whole time. Yes, I have some cupping, but so does my friend's Dunlops E3's. We bought our 1800's the same day and ride a lot together, but his came with Dunlops. When the cupping got bad enough, the wobble showed up, but only when I take both hands off the bars; not something I do often. Turns out the 1800 has a cheap front end, with suspension on one side and an anti-dive on the other. Replacing the fork is the answer, but I don't have the grand it takes to upgrade. So, for now I will replace my stones with new stones, put up with the minor annoyance, and enjoy the bike as is. For what it's worth, my buddy is replacing his Dunlops with new Dunlops. He really likes his tires, too.

Got them about 1500 miles ago and I love them. They stick like glue and make the ride more easy (Sound and comfort). Glad I switched! Had the Dunlop’s first and the noise was riding me crazy! I believe this was a good investment.

Going on the 2nd tire for the rear. Great tires! Front tire is wearing like iron so far and appears that it is going to outlast the rear about 2:1. Got over 10K out of the 1st Bridgestone rear and most of that was two-up, loaded, pulling a trailer in hot sticky Louisiana summer weather. Also fabulous rain/wet road tires...and they make my Wing handle great. I love em!!!

I am on my 3rd set of stones and I personally love them. Very smooth ride, good grip and durable. Much better than the OEM Dunlops in my opinion.

Nice hard rubber. Running about 36psi, can turn in like the kneedraggers.

I just had these removed after 4 months and 6,000 miles (new '07 GL1800 purchased in July). I had a horrible wobble at 37-44mph and vibration at highway speeds. The rear was replaced due to flattening and the front was replaced due to cupping. I check my tire pressure once a month or if I feel they are off. Today is day 1 of the Metzlers. The dealer recommended 42 psi filled with nitrogen front and rear. I'm going to give it a try. After a few thousand miles I'll post my feedback on the Metzler tire review area. I paid a lot more at Rick Case Honda than here for tires. My Metzler rear was $220.95 and the front was $172.95. If I wasn't in a bind I would have saved over $70.00.

I have run Avon, Bridgestone and Metzler tires on this 1800. For the money, the Bridgestone are Great tires. They seem to last as long as the other, they cost less and they are soft enough to grip the road very well. I pull a trailer over 60% of the time with mine (about 700 lbs) They wear like the more expensive ones.

I'm no knee-dragger, but I can keep up with most sports bikes due to the quality of these tires and the capabilities of the GL1800. I have little to compare to since these are the tires that came on my 2007 Wing, but the tires that came stock on my 2001 Shadow Sabre were nowhere near as good. Operating each of these bikes over the same roads is like night and day. The Shadow always felt like it was slipping out, even with the added weight of a passenger, whereas the 1800 feels like it is glued to the road all the time. I'm surprised these tires can do as well as they do and still last 10 - 12 k miles.

Just got a set of the 801 and 805 stones. I went with the 70 series rear, the speedo is dead on with the gps now! but the most impressive thing is the lack of road noise coming from the front tire. The original Dunlap was so bad that when I hit patches or fresh pavement where they used regrind asphalt I had to turn the radio up 4-5 clicks to hear! The stones are almost dead quite on any surface. The bike feels more responsive, seat hight is about 1 inch higher with the 70 series,That's extra ground clearance also. Only have about 500 miles on them now but so far I'm impressed.

To all. I know it's just my opinion but these tires will do the job for you on the GL-1800! I ride all year round, every day, rain or shine, to and from work in the Atlanta area. No wobble! And they last up to 12k miles (rear) 20K miles plus (front) with hard (90-Mph cruising speed) riding up and down I-85 and I-285 in the rain, heat of summer and the cold. The front tire is real good in the rain. The rear tire will begin to growl a bit in the twilight stage of its life. I'm on my 2nd rear/1st front and will replace them with another Stone again. Good Tire and not much $$$ Van

The very first Stones were a G707 & G704. As noted they had some cupping issues like all the others I might add, but shortly after Bridgestone did a redesign on the front which is now their G709. I have to say I see the results of all the tires out there on a daily basis, and I can say in all honesty that the 709 is by far and away the best front tire currently on the market for the Wing. The rear is okay but not necessarily deserving of any special mention, but like I said the 709 is the bomb. And just so you know I'm not a brand loyalist what so ever as I will jump ship the first time something better shows up, but for now it's Bridgestones.

These tires seemed to wear okay, but when they did get to about 14000 miles they began to cup quite a bit. Up until that point I really liked the tire. They made the bike feel lighter to me.
