I installed the wings, pretty straight forward. Once on the road, the heat from the radiator is VERY noticeable on my lower legs. I would recommend these for winter time use. I like the way they look, and think if they shortened the bottom to above the radiator vents to create a "summer" version, it might eliminate the heat problem.

This is the best looking wind deflectors out there. Easy installation. I waited since May for these Dragon Wings. I have one issue-I wish they dropped down the fairing a little more to cut down the heat from the radiator. Would purchase them again anyway.

Highly recommend these as they reduce wind turbulance for both the rider and passenger. The excess heat coming off the radiator is unchanged. I plan to order the lower fairing vents to see if this helps.Installation was very easy, no modifications needed.

installed and tried them out on a trip. i to noticed the HEAT BLAST on my legs. i am glad i did not modify the moldings that you must do to put them back on.i have since retired them to the box for winter use perhaps and snapped the moldings back in place and intact

One Star for looks. One star for ease of instllation. This item is only for use in the winter time, when you want the heat to flow in to your legs. Here in Utah where Saterday was only 98, the heat comming in to both the passangers and my legs was so intence that we thought we were going to be blistered. I took them off and rode the next day for another 300 mile trip and I had no problems. BAD design, Kuryakyn does not make design mastakes very often, but these wings are to long and they make the heat from the raditors come right into your legs.

These look great and do the job just one complaint is that the holes could of been up just an 1/8 so the dragon would come down that much. I spent a lot of time trying to adjust where the vent was just above the dragon. It does go there if I push the dragon down a bit the the vent rest on top of the rubber piece. I even talked to tech support and these were so new that they had not installed one yet

Installed with no problems at all, makes a huge difference in the amount of wind you feel. The hand warmers work now without the freeze and fry effect of cold air blasting the back of your hands. I like the adjustable vents, very nice.

I installed these right before a poker run and was happy with the end result. The only issue I have with them is that I had to notch out the chrome fairing strips that I installed earlier so they would snap down over the 3 brackets that hold the Dragonwings on. In the process I snapped off 2 of the clips on the side strips that are holding on now with double stick tape. I recommend these highly but take your time when installing the strips, and notch them out with care.....I let a fellow rider who has a GL1800 ride my bike on one of the legs and now he is getting them too!

These came off the bike after only a few days. The reflection of the sun off the plastic was blinding. If you have the blind spot mirrors that mount under the main mirror, the vent wing from Kuryakyn has to use the same screw. The sliding panels in the main body stick and are a pain to adjust when in motion. Worse part is the hot air that ducts onto your legs due to the design of the lower part of the trailing edge. Went back to my Show Chrome units.

I just compleated a 3700 mile road-trip Too YellowStone with these things, and I love them! I also have installed the passenger rear air deflector, and a set of Baker-Built 'trike wings's I am running the stock windshield currently, and find no real need to change this set-up. I road as both passenger and operator on this trip. and found that with this set-up, I could equal out the air-flow of the back seat to match that of the front seat. At temps ranging from 34 deg.-92 deg. And speeds from 35 MPH- 80 MPH. I had ample protection from Rain, Wind And Bugs/Debre. I-com works with open-face helmets at 80MPH, and they ajust well for AC comfort on Driver. Best money I have spent on this Bike. Awesome Customer service, and Shipping from this provider! I would recommend to anyone! and will use again for-sure.....

Being a former GL1500 owner, I had Baker Wings installed on the biker. They did a pretty good job of giving me control of the air flow. Now that I have a GL1800, I had considered going with Baker Wings again but decided to give the Draqon Wind Wings a try. These things are awesome! Not only do they give you great control of the air entering the cockpit area, but they have a very slick, high tech look to them! I would definitely recommend them to fellow Wingers.
