Installation wasn't too bad. Started with right side and it took twice as long as the left side as I was more familiar with the process then.
These armrests look factory compared to the aftermarket set that we had on our 1500.
Now it's a matter of remembering to swing them out prior to opening the trunk but that will become instinctive over time.
Great looking product and mama loves them. Cup holder is a nice addition too.

The arm rests installed fairly easy. I don't like the brachet in the pocket for a brace and you do have to swing the arms out to get inot the rear comparment. Comfort wise, they are good.

Great product. My wife truly enjoys the more relaxed feeling she gets now. Really great for those long rides. Cup holder is an added extra. It took me about 2 hours and 15 minutes to install. Very easy. Thanks

I agree that one person CAN install this but I think I threw my colon out while trying it. I also was nervous about drilling holes in my scooter so I measured four or five times and drilled once. When I put the left armrest on the passenger intercom was in the way AFTER I had drilled the holes. It was an easy fix I just pulled the intercom holder out installed the armrest then put a dot bright green paint on the pegs that hold the intercom receptacle in place put the holder to the bike under the armrest and drilled two new 1/4 holes. Then I put a dab of marine adhesive in the hole and a dab on the back of the intercom holder put it on the bike and viola. It would be nice if kuryakyn would have mentioned this might be a problem. They look great and Sugarbritches (aka the wife)loves them! WINGSTUFF beat the competitions price by $50, that's almost a pair of rear speakers. I love this place!

The instructions say that it takes two hours to install. Well that is a fact. Even thought it recommends another pair of hands to help. I found by incorporating my knee to hold the antenna in place I made it ok without the other pair of hands. The instructions were simple. And one person can indeed put this on without much problem. I really enjoy how this item looks on my Trike. My passengers appreciate it as well. I have no reason not to give this a 5 star rating.

Nice, heavy duty, and good looking. Slight anoyance that you can not open the trunk without swinging these out of the way. Note that you will give up the holder for the passenger headset plug.

This is a great product, makes riding without having to constantly hold on to your beverage more enjoyable. Not only are the arms moveable, but when you do not have a container you can fold and store the holder under the arm.

Great product. I was pretty nervous about drilling holes in a new motorcycle. I double checked my measurements and even ran a level across the armrests while the bike was on it's center stand to ensure they were staight. They look great and my lady loves them. Keep in mind that you have to swing them outward in order to open your trunk.

After reading the other reviews, I did what was suggested. The install went well and the armrest look outstanding. Read all instructions in advance. Have all required tools handy and have that extra set of hands, standing by.

Bunny, loves the new armrests, while we were on our latest trip she made the comment to some friends, "I do not know what they cost but they were worth every penny". Takes some time to install, and the brackets do not quit fit, but I made them work.

Had these installed when I bought the bike. Wife likes them and they move for the ease of me getting on and off the bike. Getting old and not as easy as it once was.

Great addition to the bike. The wife just has to have something to drink while sitting back and relaxing on a ride. We bought a very nice hot/cold drink mug that fits perfect for her.

Great addition and very functional for a passenger. I don't have a cb antenna and the directions stated to drill holes from the inside of the trunk where there are factory marks for antenna holes to use as a referance. Well needless to say that they were a little off and I had to elongate the holes. It wasn't bad because the armrest still covered the holes that I had made bigger. Other than that the directions were pretty good and it looks really great. Just remember to swing them out of the way when opening the trunk or they will hit the rear speakers.

Great product. I followed the instructions for the first side. Putting it on... taking it off marking the holes.. then drilling. I AM NOT SAYING THIS IS A GREAT IDEA. But for the second side I attached at the attena. attached the brace in the cubby. And then drilled through the side cubby and the bracket without taking it out. Much easier. I suspect there is a risk if your bit is dull that you could crack the back of the cubby/trunk. But if you have a good bit, it's much easier. It was for me. Again, I don't want to hear it if something breaks... just telling you how I did it. Be creative at your own risk.
