I had them installed by the dealer as part of the original delivery of my 2008 Gold Wing. They look great and feel fine.

The wife and I looked at a lot of different armrest before we go these, all the others seemed to be in the way when getting on or off the bike. We just had to have something as my wife was telling me she feels like she will cave in the speaker grill every time she adjusts in here seat. They were not that difficult to install either as I was changing the speakers too.

I was able to put these on my 2003 by first purchasing the factory speaker mounts from the dealer. They look great and no modification was needed for the 2006 and 2003 speakers mount with the same mounting holes. There are 3 different parts you need for each side but all of the parts needed cost me about $60.00, I just wanted something other than the aftermarket armrests which are a bit too much for my likeing.

Bit startling when you look at all the stuff you have to remove before putting it back together, hopefully without ending up with screws left over! Very good looking and my wife loves them.

Dig deep on this install-or have the shop do it. 2 hours. No short cuts to be had. It's like open heart surgery to fix a hernia. Seems like it could be easier but it can't.
Once done. Beautiful. Passenger loves them and I like the uniform look. Not the stand out arms that look almost like a nursing home walker.
Worth the money. Worth the work. Just plan a few hours so you're not rushed.

Great for OEM, but the installation instructions were a 2 Star.. It took 1:45 Hrs to install the left side and 45 minutes for the right side ( Learning Curve.. Heated Passenger Back Connection Was Impossible to disconnect for installation, So We Left It Connected) Overall They Do Look Great Once On!!

These armrests are great if you want to keep the stock look of the bike. They do take a couple of hours to install, but are well worth it.
