worked great with my xm radio. Pretty sound. Much better than FM. Just be patient in routing wiring. Easy hook up
Need a stap to hold XM on due to jarring loose on bumps

I was so found of this XM radio that I took it off my 2004 and put it on the 2008. Very nice and a must so you dont have to spend time searching for stations as you travel.

When I ordered this I thought that I could do the install. When I read the instructions I knew that I needed a lot of help. I contacted one of the reviewers for WingStuff and he recommended an installer. Called and set the appointment and showed up early for the install. Mike the installer said, no problem. That is what I like to here. He did the work in less than an hour and did not use the handlebar brackets. The XM is mounted just under the ignition key on my 2007 GW1800. We called XM and got it activated and by the time I was home I was listening to great Jazz. I also had Mike hard wire the Ipod plug into the XM cord so that if I want to listen to my IPod all I have to do is turn off the XM unit. Great stuff, if you do not have XM you are missing one of the best things in life.

I love satellite radio. I have a sirus system. With this mount the wholes lined up with the radio bracket but the mount blocked the antenna and speaker out connectors. My solution was to purchase 1/4" bushings and longer screws so the radio bracket would not sit flush against the mount. Other than this. The wiring kit is great!

XM radio is awesome, but I had a bit of a problem with the radio disconnecting from the cradle on bumpy roads. I had to resort to two hairbands to hold the receiver on the cradle. I would definetly recommend satellite radio but I am looking for a cradle that holds the receiver better.

Satellite radio is an awesome addition. This kit has all the parts you need and a bunch you don't but is way to expensive. You lose your aux audio plug and power supply from the audio boot because there is no Y connectors to leave open plugs so no more mp player unless you buy more connectors.

We have XM on our bike and just love it. No matter where you go, you can listen to whatever you want without the annoying issue of always searching for a station. When putting on hundreds of miles a day, it is one less hassle. I highly recommend.
