If you are going to use it outside of US for a 220v (50Hz) outlet and with a 220v/110v transformer, this charger may be not quite good for you. I have purchased two and they all stop to work completely after only 2 times of use. I think that there is some kind of protection circuit that “cuts-off” connection but with no way to know how to get it back. When the second one fails, I open the case and take off a part of protection shield of its transformer and shorted the protection circuit with a fuse (500mA), and it works again. But it really heats itself a lot when it is charging my GW’s battery. I also purchased another Detran battery charger: “Waterproof Battery Tender 12V 800 mAmp” and this one is very good and doesn’t need transformer because its input is 100-240 and only about $10 more expensive.

Great little charger, used it for keeping factory battery going and now with new gel battery haven't had to use but on bike all the time. all small enough to carry on bike all the time.

BE SMART USE A SMART CHARGER WITH THE QUICK COUPLING AND YOU WONT REGRET IT...

Great little product. I keep this Tender JR with my bike for our out of town trips & keep the Battery Tender Plus Smart hooked up in the garage. Battery is always charged & ready to go.

Easy to use and keeps the battery fresh. Never thought of using it on other things like tractors, 4-wheelers, etc. but I will now that I have read other reviews.

I really like the size of this charger because it is easy to carry every where you go. Only had to use it once when I was adding mods I listened to the stereo for 6 hrs. oops

I have used this product on both Harley-Davidsons and BMW motorcycles....works great...I've used with both conventional and Gel batteries....a must have for any motorcyle rider!

A must have for not only your bike but the riding lawn tractor as well. The pigtail with the cover makes it easy to hook up when needed.
