Just put on my first set of Elite 3s. I noticed increased performance immediately. I will resubmit when I get more miles on this new set... So far a nice upgrade...

Handling and traction are excellent, but I found the howl these tires put out to be annoying quite honestly. Especially when city riding with a Jersey wall present. I will be needing tires soon and I'm having second thoughts about buying these again.

O.K. 12,000 miles and now I hear the howl. But it is only when you lean the bike in turns. Otherwize it's not noticeable. Still great tractionand smooth riding. Would definately buy another set when it comes time to replace the present tires.

I recently purchased the dunlop elite 3 for my 86 gl 1200 interstate. I just rolled over 30,000 miles on my oldie but goodie! I could tell the difference in ride as soon as i took of after installation. The ride was so much smoother and the cornering was great!I only got 10,000 out of the last tire that i put on the back. I am looking forward to many great miles on road trips all over the country with this new tire!

I bought both front and back tires, then went on a 2000 mile trip, I did not realize how bad my old tires were, what a difference, They hugged the turns great and I laid it over until the floor boards were rubbing the ground many times.

Saved $150 by buying here as compared to dealer.
Replaced oem D250s with the E3s. The change is subtle but seems to hold the curves better.
I'm following Dunlop recommended inflation of 41psi rear and 39psi front. This causes a somewhat harsher ride compared to the 34/31 Honda recommendation on the old D250s. But if I can get longer life then I think I can endure it.
Only about 500 miles on these E3s so far. I like them so far. I'll let you know how I feel after a few thousand more miles.

I have 12,000 miles on mine and love the smooth ride and the traction they provide.
I rode for ten days and 2200 miles in Colorado last summer. The tires are silent when you are on straight roads. They don't "Howl" in the turns but they do emit a whine that lets you know you are passing vertical.
The only time it's really noticeable is when you are off the power in a down hill turn. If the bike wasn't so quiet, you'd never notice it.

The set was only available in bias ply for my 1500. Great grip and smooth ride. Others have claimed these "howl" in the turns but I haven't heard any noise after 4500 miles.
