The front tire seems to wear to fast. Only got about 8K miles on the first one and my second one wobbles at around 37 MPH. The E2 lasted 14K as original equip. I think it should be better

O.K. these are the first pair of 3's and I can say that they have performed great. I have just returned from a 8500 mile trip, temps from 90 to 107deg, and rain with vision of only 20yrds. Avg speed 70mph, total mileage to date
is 11853. Press.FRT43PSI, REAR47PSI
90% One up, with saddles, trunk and trunk rack max out, NO CUPPING YET!
PENNY TREAD TEST ABE'S HAIR IS STILL COVERED AT CENTER TIRE. GREAT TRACTION IN RAIN. N/W RIDERS

Put about 13,500 on my rear E3. Combination of 1 & 2 up riding in the heat of Texas and the south. This was the older version of the E3 that was laod rated at 800 + lbs. The new one is rated for 992lbs. Cant wait to see what I get out of it. I have about 9000 miles on my front E3 and it looks like there's at least 3 to 4 thousand left in it.

What an amazing difference from the OE tires. Much smoother and secure; quiet too. I just hope the mileage is comparable after about 14K on the originals, all one up. If I get the same mileage, all will be much improved with the superior quality of ride. More later on longevity; for now they are great.

Almost ready for my third set of E3"s. Got 12,000 on my first pair (GW 1500)and traded for an GW1800. My second set I had 13,000 miles on and replaced them before going on a 4,000 mile trip, I still had a little tread left on them. 98% of my riding is 2up . I really like these tires, they have served me well. I run 40psi in the front and 42psi in the rear, and check pressure frequently!! That will keep the cupping down.

I put the 70 series on. You do sit a little higher 1/2 inch. The bike leans more when on the sidestand. I checked the MPH with my GPS and its almost right on give a 1/2 mph up or down. Rides like satin smooth. I have over 4000 miles on the front tire, its the Elite3 also and no cupping yet I hope never.

Just had new E-3s put on today. Love these tires. Replaced the original Stones at 8200 miles. They had a terrrible wobble and the back tire was badly cupped. Will post more after I get back from Maine.

I had Metzler 880's on last year and had developed bad tire cupping after only a few thousand miles, along with a slight drift to the right. I put these on and all I can say is WOW! These are smooth, great grip, track straight and overall best tires I have had on this bike! So far about 700 miles

Had Bridgestone's on stock. Lasted 10,000 when the front was almost bald, and the rear was hitting the wear marks.
Just got these E3's about 200 miles ago. Got the bigger 70 series for the rear. This is nice, raised the seat of the bike about 0.5 inches.
Makes it a little hard to rock the bike off the center stand now though, especially if facing uphill.
These new tires seem to let the bike fall into turns quicker, don't know if that is just because they are new and not "flattened" in the middle yet, or if it is the shape of these radials.
Also, these tires don't have as much decel wobble on the handle bars at 35-45 mph.
There is a little "growl" noise from these tires around 50 mph.
These tires seem more sticky than my bridgestone's did to me. I rode them carefully for the first 100 miles because I read that new tires can be a little slick till you rough them up a little. But then I took them on a trip down some twisties over the weekend and was happy with the new way the bike wants to dive into turns.

I bought the Elite 3's to replace the OEM Dunlops that came on my '06 and could not believe how great they are. I wasn't to the end of the street before I knew these tires were fantastic. I got 19000 miles out of my original tires and I think that added to the contrast, but the wobble at 35-40mph was gone, the tires are sticky, smooth and quiet. Don't even notice rain grooves or bridge grates anymore. Amazing tires so far. I hope to get great mileage out of these as well.

Purchased the bike with a set of Bridgestone, after 3 weeks I was ready to switch to E3's I got a wobble on my GL1800 at about 30-40mpg seems Bridgestone needed to be rebalanced. Have a set of bias on my GL1500. Great set of tires.

Update from long ago.. have an '03 and had the Dunlops on from purchase. First set was replaced before I headed to CA, so they lasted 12k, with tread still there. Went to CA and Midwest and replaced the second set at 19K. Was very satisfied. Yes, you may get a slight vibration or noise, but performance was great. Replaced with E3, went to CA again and now have about 11K on them. Pull a heavy trailer, so come cupping, but love 'em!

I put the elite 3 radials on my 1500 goldwing last fall and have about 5000 miles on them.
I can say these are the best tires you can buy.
After being caught in the rain with these tires you'll love them too. Great wet traction.

This is an update to my April note. I am very satisfied with my purchase of these tires. Right at 15,000 miles on the front and it is time to replace. The back tire could go another 2K or so, but will replace both at the same time. The front tire does howl in turns on some types of pavement after a few thousand miles. However, it really is not that bad. Turn the radio up and don't worry. It's just the property of the tire. Regards, John

I put a new set of Elite3's on my Wing in June right before heading up the Dalton Highway to Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. From there I rode to Key West and currently have over 14,000 miles on the tires. These tires encontered over 1,000 miles of off road conditions and I never had a problem.
