I have to write this retraction. My earlier commit was wrong. I double checked the connections and noticed the running light connection was not connected correctly. This product is a five star, worth every pennie.

Installed this product over a month ago, in my 07 wing, with no problem. Everything worked great until one morning I started my wing and noticed the spoiler lights were not working, the lights did not come on. I mean nothing was on. All the lights on the wing worked okay, but the spoiler's running, turn signal, and brake lights did not work. I tapped the spoiler a couple of time and the lights started working. I know I connected everything correctly and the lights worked fine for a month and I ride my wing everyday. Have anyone else experience this same problem? Is there a shortage? Is there a defect in this product?

This is an excellent light and a MUST HAVE for SAFETY, in my opinion. Friends that ride with me are all wanting one since they've seen mine. The video just does not do the light justice. It's not all that hard to install and I did NOT remove the seats as the instrucions said! I just used a small piece of insulated wire and fished the harness UP from the rear of the bike to the LEFT side of the trunk. From there, it's simply plug and play. One problem I had was the instructions say to plug the braker harness into the Red plug (with red/green wire) in the trunk lid and this was hot all the time on my wing and would not work. The correct plug was white and was the brake function for the light. This plug was right beside the red one in the trunk lid.

I am the road cpt for my riding club, and this is one of the best investments that I have made for our bike. Helps my club members in the rear see me a lot better. During install had to use my wifes hand to run wiring through back seat. This an easy install.

Excellent product! Instructions are clear and the hardest part of the whole operation is fishing the wire through to the back of the bike - but even that is not bad. The end result is a great looking spoiler light that really draws attention.

I found the same to be true, as stated by Hawaii 1. This is a must have product and should be a factory standard just for the safety factor. My riding buddies agree this was a great add-on that is both "fashionale" and functional.

I have to agree that the video does not do this product justice. Also the instructions include the proceedure for not utilizing the running light feture(don't connect the black wire). It took about an hour to install this light on both my '07 and my father '01. It is measurement wise an exact replacement for the OEM hondaline brakelight. The directional is very visable at night and equally as bright in direct sunlight. For those that tow trailers, this is a must.

Just installed it yesterday, and just love it. Installation was not bad at all. Agree with another reviewer, when just the key is on, one side does not work as bright and also flashers don't work normally, but once you start the bike and you are up and running, PERFECT. Ya gotta have this one. I am not mechanically inclined, and I installed it no problem at all following the directions.

Great safety product. Instructions are clear and accurate. Did not have the problem with my installation as STFU did. Somebody must have been asleep during QA/QC.

OH MY GOD!!! Just installed this with my spoiler and IT LOOKS GREAT the video does not do it justice. Had some trouble with 6MM special screws that hold on the back of the bike stripped one of them $1.83 at honda dealer. Also I had to plug yellow to white and white to yellow to have turn signals proper. The other way they were opposite then the bike. Someboby must have been sleeping on the job. To bad you can't buy the spoiler without a light in it. could have saved a bundle. Now I have a spoiler light I don't need. Yea well if you want to play you gotta pay.

Just installed the new Signal Flashing Trunk Spoiler LED Light. Instructions were very good, just time consuming to take everything apart and put it back together. About 2 hours work. Used a wire with a hook to bring the wiring from the front of the trunk to the rear fender area to plug it in. I also spliced in the TailBlazer 200GW and everything works GREAT. Glad to have turn signals at eye level. Can't go wrong with this safety item. A must have. Paul

This is one of the best things I've ever had on a motorcycle. I promise you WILL love this spoiler light. The improvement in the visability of your bike is worth it all by itself. It is VERY easy to install as the instructions are quite clear and there really is no trouble following them. The difference it makes to the rear o your wing is nothing short of remarkable. Worth EVERY penny spent on this.

The instructions for this install a detailed and easy. The hardest part of the install is running the wiring down behind the trunk to the connector behind the lower center panel between the saddle bags. I found that one side of the brake light portion didn't work properly until I started the bike. Since then everything works great with engine on or off. Very nice addition and effective for safety.

Installed the EC Spoiler Light yesterday. Everything looked good hooking the EC Light up per instructions. Hardest part of the whole install is just "fishing" the wirng harness from the front of the trunk own to the rear fender area to make the turn signal connection, not hard at all. Very effective light as it comes from Electrical Connection. I removed my Kisan 25LED-D Tailblazer (Spoiler Stop Light flasher and running light conversion)from the system before I installed the EC Spoiler Light as the two are not comaptibile. Purchased a Kisan 200GW from Wingstuff and Spliced it into the short Red/Green wiring harness that comes with the EC Spoiler Light and velcroed it to the top inside of the trunk lid. The Stop Light modulation in the Spoiler light is just as effective with the EC light as it was with the OEM Spoiler Light and the 25LED-D model. The turnsignal functions do not confuse the issue at all. I'm very pleased with the modification! Nice Work Lewis!
