Very good quality product. Adds lighting for night rides but more importantly, makes your bike more visible during the day. Very easy installation. Took about 2 hours.

These lights look and function great on the bike. I agree that there could be a better means of adjustment. Fairly easy installation. However, be sure to reinstall the black plastic pieces that were removed from the engine. The plastic plates need to be installed behind the foglight mounting brackets to ensure proper alignment in the cowl. Steve Saunders' web page neglects this step in the installation in the photos and video. If the plates are not installed the lights will point towards the outside. The instructions included with the lights indicated the plate install, but I overlooked it the first time. Otherwise, I recommend this product.

I just purchased these lights and have to say that I am not very happy with them. The instructions provided are not helpful at all. You have to study the situation carefully and figure out a way to get the alignment correct. They don't really light up the night either.

Do what they say they will do. Installation was straight forward except Honda chose to hide my switch plug and I had to hunt for it. Sneaky little devils hid it inside a boot for another connection. I used the jumper so I can control when the lights are on and not have them go off with the high beams. (Don't want a cage driver to be able to say "I didn't see him") As it happened, I am working nights right now and we had fog that night. I turned my headlights down to the lowest position with the power control switch and used my fog lights. Illumination was wery good and there was considerably less back reflection off the fog which is what causes the blind spots....

These look and work great. Very easy to install after watching the video at www.goldwingfacts.com/bikersworkshopmenu.htm. The instruction that come with the lights leave a lot to be desired. A box knife works great for cutting out the knock outs. Much easier then a hack saw blade. I read on another site that the Hondaline lights are made by Show Chrome. So by buying the Show Chrome lights you save about $80 and get the override plug so you can make the lights stay on with the high beams.

Lights seem fine, though I have not had a chance to test them in fog conditions. Installation went okay, though the instructions are more noteworthy for their omissions than for what they include. Big Bike oughta wake up and smell the coffee! Ran into all the issues mentioned in earlier reviews. The most notable in my view is this: Removing the control panel without unplugging it from the wiring harness is (probably) impossible - and that means removing the compartment above the panel. My only comment about design is that the adjusting screws seem to have minimal effect on the aiming points of the lights. The screws need to be a different design to be really effective: should have a flange below the head on the scew so that the tab on the light will be caught between the flange and the head.

Just installed these lights on my 2008 GW. Should have watched the video, as instructions are not clear at all. Lights work well and meet my expectations. Some comments re. installation: (1) the bolts used to mount to the engine block snap off easily if you're not careful when tightening them; (2) the left side of the engine block is slightly further back than the right side, hence the instructions to use the longer bolts and spacers on the left side ... this is not a mistake in the instructions; (3) remove the left pocket (above the switch panel) to increase your workspace when mounting the light switch; (4) although the instructions don't reference using the side bolt to mount each light, you should do so; (5) finding the 4-pin black accessory connector behing the switch panel was also the most difficult thing for me ... it's hidden in a black sleeve which also contains two white connections.

Just installed these fog lamps with the crome crowl... Very impressed with the look. I did watch Steve's vidio and that made it very simple to complete the instlation... The link is http://www.goldwingfacts.com/bikersworkshopmenu.htm If your doing the instlation your self watch the vidio... you won't be wasting your time!

First mod on I did on my wing. Instructions not very clear but after looking and reading a few times I figured it out. Install fairly easy. Overall look is great. Lights up really well. Purchased/installed the chrome lower cowl at the same time. Loved the way the whole thing turned out. The most difficult part was locating the OEM plug for the lights in the left side pocket.

Very good product, should have watched the video, the diagram is very confusing and wrong in a couple of places but was able to figure it out. The right bracket mounting bolts did not align. With the top and bottom bolts in, the side bolt was off by about 1/4 in. Cut off half of the middle groove of the rubber gromet to get the bolt aligned true the bracket with an offset in the hole in order to align it with the bike's threaded hole. This bike is a 2008 and seems to have differences even with earlier VIN 2008s.

I think they are the best. It took just a short time and Steve Saunders Wing page was a lot of help.I also installed a new crome cowling at the same time.

After watching the "Installtion Video" it was a snap to install. Took a grand total of 45 mins including the cut-outs. A dremil tool with a cut-off wheel makes short work of the cut-outs, and allows you to dress up the edges at the same time...Top notch product!!
