I use this rack solely to carry the rivco waterproof bag (RB100). I cannot imagine doing any trip longer than 2 or 3 days without the extra luggage space (especially during winter when carrying extra clothing, raingear, etc...) Bear in mind that using this rack with luggage/cooler will block your numberplate - so i attached an additional plate to the back of the rack (as i don't want any trouble from the police)

Very happy with this product. Easy to get on and off. A agree with others that it should be an inch or two bigger. (This 4 vs 5) My mid-sized cooler is just a pinch too big to fit perfectly. Also found a way to lock it on by putting a long looped lock through the rings on the cotter clips then under the hitch frame. I'll try to post a photo.

An exclent quality made product. The only reason I'm giving it a 4 star instead of five is the size. The best use is for a cooler and the only coolers that fit snug are the small daytrip coolers. The rack truely needs about two inches more width and one ince more front to rear. That would allow it to accomodate most medium sized coolers for campouts.

Very cool product! I recently used it to carry a duffle bag on a long trip. Much better than strapping it onto the top of the trunk. It put the weight low to the ground (better handling) and didn't risk cracking my trunk lid. Oh, it will carry a cooler too :-)

Works like a charm. Very light weight, easy to mount my cooler on. 4 stars only because I need to figure away to lock this onto my bike. Holes are to small for trailer locks.

Works like a charm to tote around a smaller (12 pack-ish) cooler. My original plan was to use this rack in two places, on the bike hitch and then purchase the extra coupler for the home built trailer to fit it in the tongue. I don't need that now since I landed a good deal on a trailer with a large cooler attached, but I'm keeping this rack around for those times when I don't feel like hauling the big cooler. ;-) Very sturdy, doesn't wiggle, performed like a champ on a 1,000 mile trip. I honestly forgot it was back there half the time.

Used this cooler mount on my Rivco hitch on my trip around the US last year 15K miles and it was a great place to keep drinks and use for extra storage.

This is worth every penny. We've used it on many trips on the wing now it's on the trike.

What a great item. As much as we ride during the summer in Texas. It is nice to have a cold drink there. I guess you could use this to haul tool or other things as well. i like it and use it.
