Cold hands, that's why I went looking for a wind deflector. I read the reviews and this one was the best. I ordered, installed and they work. No problems at install and I just got back from the Smokies where the temps went down into the 40's and I was still wearing my summer gloves without the heated grips. Flat out, this product does what I wanted. It doesn't hurt that they look good also. One thing I have noticed is now that I don't have wind problems with the hands, I can feel the wind around my legs and some heat on warm days. As easy as these are to install, may just take them off during the warm months. Highly recommended if you're looking to get rid of cold hands.

Should be easy to install but take time when removing face mouldings. You also have to make two gutters in mouldings to fit properly.

Installed both sides in less than 10 minutes... no cutting or carving needed if you put them on the screws the directions show... the edging will fit right back in place with no gaps. Rode 120 miles today after putting them on after work yesterday, and they are great! Knock that wind right off the cuffs...

Very easy to install and a nice fit. Recently used them on a long trip and they are GREAT. It deflects wind and rain away from hands and the co-pilot noticed a big difference with wind at highway speeds. Make sure you tighten the screws on the little doors so they don't open on their own.

These were very easy to install. They fit nice and do a good job of stablizing the bike in strong winds. Haven't decided on the lowers yet.

Fitted these in fifteen minutes, look great and do a great job deflecting the wind off the arms and upper body. Would advise anyone putting these on to put a small piece of tape under the bracket where it lies on the fairing as it will eventually scrape the paintwork with the constant vibration caused by the wind.

P.S. You'll have to notch out the fairing molding at where they attach to get them to fit right. No problem! You can do it! Just take your time. On a recent trip I dealt with 60 mph cross winds for awhile. They sure can help with the buffeting in conjustion with the lower set. The adjustments certainly aid in stability.

These are fantastic! These, along with the lower deflectors, made a huge difference in the wind buffeting....goin' around trucks and stuff is a cinch. I never thought these would work as well as they do. Makes communicating with your passenger way easier. The deflectors and a larger windshield allow me to ride in very cold weather. Look nice, too. Simple install.

My previous review still stands with respect to matching the color with the 2007 blue but, now that I have had them painted, you can't tell that they are not part of the fairing. I believe that the color they come in matches the 2005 model blue.
Now they don't look like an add on.

Got the smoke for my illusion red and I am happy with the look. I noticed a instant reduction in wind noise and buffeting. On hot days, the lowers are wonderful in directing cool air to the riders.

These look great on my 2005 (blue). It was a simple install only taking a few minutes each side. These are pretty sturdy. My one piece of advice is to watch out when snapping the fairing back into place, the fairing piece's "feet" can break pretty easily if you're not careful. That warning is also in the instructions so you just have to be gentle with it.

I'm with Carson on this. Also, the color doesn't match the dark blue 2007. Looks like a "Pep Boys" add on rather than custom. I'll send them out to get painted to match eventually. Maybe ColorMatch should look at providing these in a matched color

I have given these items four stars because although the upper and lower air deflectors help the driver, the passenger derives no noticeable difference in wind turbulance except somewhat from the lower wind deflector. I was quite disappointed from the passenger point of view.

Appears to be quality materials and workmanship. Installation was easy, took about 15 minutes for both upper and lower deflectors. Smoke looks great with my black scooter!! Long ride upcoming but expect less turbulence for the back-seater and myself!

Just put these on and haven't ridden with them much other than an initial test ride. However, I could tell immediately that there was far less turbulent side air on me than there was with just the Baker Hand Wings on the mirrors. I also think they're the least offensive looking deflectors and actually have decent looking lines. I'm not into big ol' honkin' deflectors no matter how good they work, so I don't plan on any lowers especially since as they are, these will also let me use my Mick O' Pegs without getting in the way of my legs. My only missive is that they don't quite fit up and form around the mirrors and fairing as closely as I'd like for a more finished look, nor does the vent wing have much adjustibility or effect. These are basically for long rides with the wife. They're easy to install and remove, a plus.

Color matching, looks great and helps deflect the wind towards you or away from you.. Best to have lowers as well as uppers for full benefit

Show Chrome's upper and lower Fairing Side Wind Deflectors work great! I bought a set in Candy Red for my 2003 Candy Red 1800 and they look great and were easy to install in about 15 minutes.
