The luggage rack was on my bike when I bought it, so I am not sure the Manufacturer. I think it's a Kuri. This DID NOT even come close to fitting my 1500 rack. It looks as if it will fit the 1800 Kuri rack fine, but not mine. The big velcro on the bottom does line up, and the 4 velcro loop straps don't line up to nothing either. The rack is a little narrower than the bag. The bag seem nice, it just doesn't fit the rack on my 1500, and it says "universal"

Very happy with this bag. Bought it for a trip from WI to Smoky Mountains, had more than enought storage for 9 day trip. Later on an over-night attached it on rear seat using side velcro strips an worked even better. Rain cover fits well, is easy to attach and does a great job of keeping contents dry.

About 25% larger than the Kury equal (yes, I have it too). Nice piece for the money. It will replace a rucksack when heading off to work in Fort McMurray by sitting on the passenger seat. The velcroe straps tie perfectly to your passenger grabs.

We just came back from 8 days on the road, this bag is great. The velcro attachments hold the bag very tight to the Kuryakyn rear rack.

Well made product. The attachment to the rack is a little flimsy but will work OK.

Bought this product for a little drive from Edmonds WA to Fairbanks Alaska and back. I may have put more than 5 pounds in the bags but they worked great. Highly recommend this product.

Bought this 2 weeks ago for my trip from N.C. to Savannah Ga then to Gatlinburg Tn and back to N.C.. Bag worked great. Although I did load it down with more than 5 lbs, it held up great. The attachment system they have worked fine. Just wrapped the velcro around the luggage rack and the long flaps on bottom of bag held tight. Great product. Recommend it for anyone taking a long trip.

The bag has plenty of room and the attachment system seems adequate. Haven't had a chance to take a trip with it yet. I gave it 4 stars because the bag is so floppy and shapeless when it's empty. I might cement some rigid sides into it to help that. Overall good value.

Good purchase for that little bit of extra storage. Found the bag was great for storing the extra jacket and rain gear for quick and easy access. Velcro fasteners take a little playing around to get fastened securely but once in place never had a problem. Rain cover works great. Never a problem with it blowing off or flapping in the wind and it does a perect job of shedding rain. Stored large travel map in the bag too and never got wet in the heavy rains.

Kept things dry and available on trip from ohio to the Grand Tetons. We saw many grand tetons on the way out but none as spectacular as the ones at Jenny Lake ;)

Nice Bag. Lots of room. I've used it a few times. Like previous reviews..I felt safer with a bungee cord. Plenty of velcro just didn't feel that comfortable with it at 75 mph. Great storage!

I have to agree with Dusty... the front velcro straps don't seem quite strong enough, so I used a bungee cord across the middle just to be sure. I took this on a 2500 mi trip, mostly freeway, and the rain cover vibrated so much in the wind that it scratched the trunk lid behind the passenger's backrest. If you remember to tuck it in behind the raised front bar of the luggage rack, however, you can avoid this. I would have left the two front mini-compartments off and beefed up the front straps. Still, it's a great bag for the price. If you're solo, put it on the back seat.

This product should actually get 4.5 Stars, but ..... Nice roomy bag, with a nicely fitted rain cover. I cut up a blue foam pad to shape and used spray adhesive to affix them to the front and back inside panel, to give it some 'shape' when empty. The main access zipper could have been upgraded to a # 10 coil, for more durability in the long run. I found that with my trunk rack(Kuryakyn Luggage Rack, item # KU7150) the mounting system, while adequate, could have had a little more Velcro, close to the 'folded' end, to better secure the mounting system, to the trunk rack. I'll probably add a bungee cord, just to make sure. Like previous reviewer stated, this rack bag fits nicely on the passenger seat and you secure it to the grab handles and can lean back on it as a backrest. You can get quite a lot in this bag, just be careful you don't overload it and cause cracking, in your trunk lid.!

2,500 mile trip... I have to admit that I didn't put it on my luggage rack. I put it on my "cooler" rack. I was concerned that it holds too much! Once packed it was VERY heavy. Not the products fault (the wife packs everything including the kitchen sink). I didn’t want to crack my trunk. GREAT product!!! I hit a lot of rain… no leaks with the cover on!.

It's a plain jane bag, but it's big and for $35, what do you want? It has a front zippered compartment that houses a tethered rain cover with an elastic bottom to keep it in place. Attachment is by many pieces of velcro. I used this bag on a recent 3800 mile tour during which we had a 4 hour ride in 50 mph cross winds. The cross wind was so strong my luggage bungeed to the back seat was actually moving 5 inches with those gusts. Any more wind and I'd have had to stop riding, but through it all this bag held tight and the deployed rain cover stayed put. I really figured it would be a fatality, but I guess that's why it's a "Staff's Pick."
