Just plug and go, its that easy. Already had to replace in-line fuse. Tried to wire up a new trailer and blew a fuse, glad I had it on the bike...

One thing I love about the Goldwing when you buy an Accessory like this one and open the part of the bike it is to install in. There are all the connections. Install in minutes. My trailer was another story. SMILING. Great Product

Very easy to install. Would have been nice to know that a separate wiring harness (purchased separately)from U-haul is required.

BE AWARE IT YOUR TRAILER HAS 'ALL' LED LIGHTS, you may have a problem. I ordered TWO. One for my bike and the second for a friend's bike (identical bikes). My trailer has a combination of LED and incandescent lights and everything worked fine. My friends trailer is ALL LED and the unit wouldn't function properly. Had to remove it. Suspect the LED's didn't have enough electrical draw to get the relays in the unit to operate.

I put this on after my hitch had been on for a while. It was most easy and like others took all of about 10 to 15 minutes to install.

Easy to install even dough I had previously installed the hitch. (The Harness was back ordered and got it later). Used self adhesive Velcro to stick the relay part in place.

Good Product and easy to install. It took 5 minutes to install while I was doing the trailer hitch. Make sure that you read the instructions before ordering anything. This rig is for FIVE wires and you MUST use an isolator for the trailer lights, otherwise, the trailer and bike lights will dim. Not to mention that the extra lights could damage the electrical system on your bike. It is not worth the $35 for the isolator, as well as voiding your warranty.

Good product. Easy install. Especially considering you probably already have the panels off to install the hitch. On 2006 model, there is no screw behind the license plate to hold on the license plate panel. It is filled with a rubber grommet. This makes a perfect place to run out the external wires for the hitch plug, allowing the plug to hide behind the license plate(out of the weather) when not in use. Note: the external does not contain a plug. You'll need to get one seperately. The picture clearly shows this but one might assume the plug was included. I did.

Good plug and play. No instructions needed, it all fell in place. I ran a stiff wire along the bag, tied the power wire to that and pulled it right through to the battery. Gravy! A 5 wire flat plug, solder, heat shrink tube and ready to run with the trailer.

Nice product, smotth and EASY install. I wired mine with a five way flat. It sits behind my license plate. Then I made a five way flat to five way round jumper for my trailer. Remove the reciever, remove the trailer jumper. No hanging wires, and nothing showing. Also keeps my plug out of the weather!! VERY SLICK!!

Perfect! I used a coat hanger to run the power wire. Came out just below the battery! ( Remoce the fuse and pigtail first.

My low rating is because this is only half of the solution. After many phone calls,to wingstuff,Add-on , and many trips to the auto parts stores I found that if you are hooking up to a standard 4 wire trailer ( if you don't want to alter your trailer wiring to a five wire system ) I finally found out you have to buy the U-Haul 4-5 ($16.95 + tax)converter which works well. (Add on company finally told me that this is the only receptical that can be used. I have turn signal, running lights and brake lights. the 4 way flashers won't work but I can live with that ! ( U-Haul # 13486 )
