Wow - these lights are powerful. When i first turned them on i could hardly believe it! They effectively turn night into day & they even make cages move out of my way on the highway. Be careful not to blind oncoming traffic with these little monsters.

These lights are awesome! Light up the night and make it a pleasure to drive in darkness.
One reviewer had an issue with the design of the switch and there is a reason for it. Switch runs the wattage through the included rectifier and to the battery to keep the wattage away from the switch. Mounting the switch in left driver glove box on the wing works fine. Used velcro to hold. Run switch through hole created by 12 volt power source and notch to allow wire.
All self contained.

Nice lights.
Get them aimed, turn them on and ride.
Way better than the "competitions".

Good investment for night riding to spot those moose and deer ready to bolt on to the road here in the north. My biggest fear!
Easy to install although Piaa could provide better instructions and pics. (seems to be a common theme when writing these reviews). Take your time threading the wires so there's no pinch points. In order to do a proper job, your tank cover needs to come off. The only negative thing about the setup is the switch. It's a "stick on jobbie" that I'm still debating where to mount. Will probably locate near the clutch assembly. What have others done??

After reading the reviews about how bright these are, I was ready to be a little disappointed. I wasn't at all. I can't believe how bright they are and really do look good to the bike. Have a fork brace so the area looked a little bare. You bought a $20k bike, what's a few more bucks!

I hated the price until after I installed and used them, now it was the best investment to date! I wired so I control on and off, not high and low beams. I also dissambled the dash and mounted a LED light above the cruise on light, so now I can see when they are on or off. It do get flashed even in the daytime running them but I want others to see me, so aparently they work. I usually only dim when meeting cars at night and not during the day. Its a must have safety item especially during day busy traffic. Do not get scared with the price, they are worth every dollar!

I love them, they look great and work even better.I just bought my 08 wing on 10/16/07 and have over 5000 miles on the bike and the lights make it possible to keep ridding at night safely. I run them on all the time, day and night when I'm not blinding anyone, and have had no problems.
Very happy with the install job Dave & Don did at Wingstuff's,And all the guys were just great there, even with me hanging around for three days during the installations of everything. And nice hotel suites right next door. Thanks Guy's I'll be back.

One of my favorite mods. I can be seen from a mile away now, I even have people flashing there lites at me during the day. They do get very hot, so take caution after turning them off to let them cool some.

Well made, easy to install and boy are they bright. They also look good tucked up under the fairing. Took a while to get them aimed just the way I wanted, but once adjusted and tightened up they haven't moved at all. Great for making those dark roads safe.

Well worth the expense as a safety item. Don't go near an airport or you'll find yourself being directed in by the FAA. Even with the upgraded bulbs, the power draw was OK and I have mine loaded with electrical items. Picks up deer and animal eyes in the distance very well. I have mine hooked up with a separate switch and they come on when I engage the high beams. Oncoming drivers wil certainly let you know how bright they are. They make night riding more enjoyable knowing that you can see way out there.

I have these on my '07 Wing. On a recent trip up through Oregon, my buddy was in the lead, it was around 1 am. He was using his high beams, and just just saw reflective eyes of a deer, ahead. I saw 'em too but hit my PIAA 1100X lights. Saw the deer, his brothers, and the family next door!
!!BLAMO!! These lights will light up those dark desolate roads we love so much.

GOOD GOD THESE LIGHTS ARE BRIGHT. And that is always a good thing. Give off a mega-bright blue-ish light that CAN NOT be missed. Some laws make this a 'high-beam only' light, but we also added a defeat switch when you don't need them (they will light a fire at a mile!)

These lights are life savers. I ride the Ortega every morning at 5:00 am and when not in traffic these cannot be beat. They provide all around light, not down the road lighting like your high beams. These compliment the other lights by allow you to see the corners and their apexes better. Also you can see the sides of the road much better and give you a much better overall view of the road. I reccommend these for anyone who rides much in the dark. In winter when I am riding to and from work in the dark I use them every trip. Sally thinks they look good also.
