GL1800 Accessories Kuryakyn Luggage Rack Risers
By popular demand, we now offer a Riser Kit to raise the famous Kuryakyn GL1800 Billet Luggage Rack by 5/8" and give a larger diameter footprint for support. This will make cleaning under your rack easier and spread the load a bit. Reuses stock mounting holes if you already have luggage rack.

You'll probably need these, especially if you've got the spoiler on a gl1800. These rise the rack off the decklid an ideal distance/clearance; did not use the star washer kit, did not need them with the Kuryankyn rack.

Look good, pretty easy to install. If you think you will ever want/need them (later instal lof a spoiler?) buy and install with the rack, as the hole locations do change a little if you decide to add later. Also, longer screws are needed, and provided, in the package, however the longest ones which are to be used at the rear were too long for my application (bottomed out in the rack threads before being tight on the trunk), so I had to cut them to make 'em shorter. Bought "star" washers too, but didn't seem to be needed on the top, might be helpful underneath. to spread the load and prevent cracks in the trunk.

AAfter reading all of the reviews on the luggage rack that recommended ordering the risers, when you ordered the rack, I'm glad I did. They work great. I already had a spoiler and these helped in placement of the rack.

If you want easy access to clean under your luggage rack these are a must. High quality and easy ti install. I'm very glad I used them.

These should be sold with the rack! BUY THIS and the Star washers. Don't install without both.
