I bought one of these last summer, 20K+ miles later-I very happy with it! Best investment for my bikes sake. It is definatley doing its job by its battle scars and dents. Reduces side wind drafts caused by big trucks and Santa Anna winds. No extra heat noticed-temp guage still in same spot even riding thru Las Vegas in JULY!

This is a good product. It installs pretty easily but as mentioned before the center screw is a bit long. Immediately after installation I rode 1500 miles and it was no problem. I have not noticed any change to mileage or sideways motion from passing trucks. I think of this product as insurance.

Although i did not purchase this item from Wingstuff(sorry guys) i did get it from local Honda dealer.The mechanic there showed me an oil filter off his Goldwing, where he had hit something. He highly recommended this item.After the mechanic put my pan on he showed me where i apparently hit something and dented the underside of my bike(makes me sick).My bike is only 3 weeks old.So i HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ITEM!!!!

This was the easiest items I have installed on my GL1800 so far. It took longer to get the tools out and read the directions then install it. Didn't notice any extra heat or change in Temp Gauge. I may have notice less cross wind action when large trucks pass in the opposite direction. If I notice anything different will update. Only been on over the weekend.

Good thing to have but dont tightern the self tapping screws to tight our you will lose them Ive lost 2 all ready.They cross thread very easly.
