I recently installed the receiver style vertical Kuryakyn GL1800 Trailer Hitch #KU7647 and used this cooler rack without any problems. This picture is a little deceiving, it shows the vertical piece at an angle but it's actually at a 90 degree angle which slides into the hitch and the rack is level. I would recommend this item.
