Added this item a couple years ago. DON"T do IT! It will hit front fender and scratch it when forks compress. Lights went out on one half within a couple months. Does light up great however at night.

A poor method of fixing. I made four angled brackets to secure the halo in place. LED’s should be brighter.

This is a really attractive addition to the GL 1800. My chapter members like it and at least 2 have ordered one for their bike/trike. I installed this on a Trike with a 4.5 degree rake and it required a little custom fitting to make sure that the forks cleared at each extreme turn. Make sure that you check the forks for clearance before fastening. In addition I added 2 screws at the ends, instead of the tape, to make sure that it stays in place and does not interfere with the forks.
