I have had these on my 06 for two years and over 13000 miles. They still look and work great. Could not be happier. Not surprised that some states would ban a device that makes you more visible at night and does no harm.

I recently purchased this product for my husband as a Christmas gift. He had them installed only to be told by a friend that they were illegal in the state of Virginia. We confirmed this by speaking with a Virginia State Police who stated they were in fact illegal even if the lights were not burning. He stated they were also illegal in the states of Tennessee and North Carolina, two other states in which we frequently go motorcycle riding. So of course we had to remove them. I would advise anyone if thinking about buying this product to check with their state police department before buying. I spent a lot of money on these for nothing. What a rip off. Jani Johnson
