Chrome fork dust covers are installed above the fork brace. For people with the Fork Brace already installed without the optional chrome covers, these Optional Chrome Covers must be used with with the Kuryakyn 8615 brace and cannot be added by themselves.
We could not find a fork brace on the market that had the necessary adjustments to cover the variable working tolerances a Gold Wing inherently has. Two piece braces do not allow for any manufacturing variation that affects the width of fork, this can lead to premature wear of the bushings and seals. We can now offer you a superbly stylish show chromed fork brace. We’ve seen nothing on the market that compares. It will give you the look and the rock solid handling your high-performance GL1800 demands.

Very easy installation, and did stiffen up the feel and turning…It looks very nice even with out the dust covers, I had to wait for the dust covers while wingstuff fixed the attachment problem, but the covers just came today, but I haven’t installed them as of this post.
Excellent product, and I can’t figure why Honda doesn’t put these on all Glodwings as a factory item… |

I installed this brace on my new bike. 2 years and 19,000 miles later, I have front fork seals leaking.
To install this, you must remove the cover that guards the tubes from getting bug guts on them. When the bugs get stuck to the tube, its acts like sand paper and eats your fork seal apart. Im not happy at all. If you still want this brace, ill sell you mine for $50.00. screamingd@verizon.net |
