Very easy to install. Would have been nice to know that a separate wiring harness (purchased separately)from U-haul is required.

BE AWARE IT YOUR TRAILER HAS 'ALL' LED LIGHTS, you may have a problem. I ordered TWO. One for my bike and the second for a friend's bike (identical bikes). My trailer has a combination of LED and incandescent lights and everything worked fine. My friends trailer is ALL LED and the unit wouldn't function properly. Had to remove it. Suspect the LED's didn't have enough electrical draw to get the relays in the unit to operate.

I put this on after my hitch had been on for a while. It was most easy and like others took all of about 10 to 15 minutes to install.

Easy to install even dough I had previously installed the hitch. (The Harness was back ordered and got it later).
Used self adhesive Velcro to stick the relay part in place. |
