Install takes about 2 hours, including the antenna. Works great and I wouldn't be without a CB. A safe way to communicate with other riders.
To bad they are so darn expensive, but I believe the Honda CB is the only one to use. |

Removing all the body parts took a little time, but after that the install was quite easy. The whole thing took about an hour and a half in total. I agree with others, the CB is way too expensive for such a dated piece technology. But it is worth having when riding in groups or traveling long distances.

Great CB and relatively easy to install. I say relatively because I am new to cycle maintenance and the GL1800 so up till now haven't really dealt with taking apart fairings, etc. But with the help of the service manual was able to get accomplished. Like many others who posted a review, you DO NOT need to take off the trunk as the directions indicate.
Also like everyone else has posted, the price is ridiculous, but am very happy that Wingstuff offers the cheapest around. |
