Easy install... put this on last night while talking to one of my brothers on the telephone... and still had it done in less than 15 minutes.
Haven't ridden with it on yet, but it definitely streamlines the underside of the Wing... and gives much needed protection to vital parts of the bike! |

Piece of cake to install. Wife feels more heat on her left foot. Took it back off and stamped 4 louvers in the main tray facing back. Seems to have gotten rid of the heat,but maintained it's protection.

Installation was reasonably straight forward on my 2008 GW. However, the use of closed-circumferance slots rather than open-ended slots means that you must pull the side covers off of the "threaded pegs" in order to insert those pegs into the belly pan's slots. The side covers are reasonably flexible and will pull off and then go back on without permanently affecting their fit or appearance.
Aerodynamics do improve. Trucks still create turbulence that is felt at body height. There's nothing the belly pan can do about this. However, the belly pan does reduce the impact of turbulence on the bike itself; the bike is more stable when passing or being passed by a truck at turnpike speeds. |

This is a well made product. Easy install and it's eas to see how it will protect the underside of the bike in the engine area, especially the oil filter. I don't know so much about the wind defection others have mentioned, since I didn't really notice much of it before I put it on.

Very simple to install. The two piece set-up is great for oil changes with easy cam fastenings. As others have said the coolant tank is really exposed and mine has taken some hits prior to installing this luckily with no punctures. I now ride with confidence that my under belly is now secure.
