My mirror edges had some wear and tear on them and easier than repainting was to add the additional turn signal. Dresses up the mirror very nicely. I too went with silicone for installation as the tape wasn't strong enough to hold it in place.

Very good Safety add-on and they look great. Don't use the tape, just a head'ache Use the clear silicone and tape till silicone is set....

Don't use the tape, for perminent application use clear silicone!!!!!
