knocked it down one star because of the difficulty in getting it properly aligned and the incomplete instructions. However, it is a very good product. A suggestion to Kuryakan, make a rolled edge on both sides of the fender extension so that it would help guide the installation on both sides to make it have an even appearance on both sides. They take care of that with the tabs on the bottom but the sides are left to chance which is difficult on a one time fit of the tape. It can be done, but with some engineering prowess, it would not be left to luck or chance to get it even.

Good looking piece...IF the chrome holds out. It does protect the front of the engine very well.

Installation tips....Put the bike on the center stand, and install the sticky pad on the extension. From the front of the bike looking back, reach one hand on each side and tip the top edge out. You can see both sides pretty easy by moving your head side to side and align the extension on both sides while pulling the piece up to the stops (see instructions). When it looks and feels straight, push the top into the fender and push in on the sticky pad at all points until it's stuck good. Push the sides in and drill through the holes in the extension and the fender. Install the rubber piece between the extension and the fender, then the metal piece and start the nut and tighten. The nut is a self locking type and I'd suggest not tightening it much past snug. Some people have talked about fender cracking and it was probably from over tightening.

Good luck.

Looks great and works like advertised. Get a friend to check the test fit on the other side, it helps speed thing along.

Very good looking, and work like it was intended to.. A bit tricky to install, not only do you have to line up the bottom stops, BUT make sure its centered on the right and left sides so when you press it on, your even on the right and the left sides of the fender. If you want your timing cover, and front cowling free of road dirt, and mud this works well and looks great.

I purchased the chrome front cowl and this was a must to keep the road crud off. Just a little longer and better protection than most of the other extenders. Great quality and a snap to install.
