After years of development, Progressive Suspension announced the release of what they call the ultimate suspension upgrade to the Honda GL1800 Gold Wing.  This New 460 GL1800 Rear Shock improves the ride and handling of the worlds ultimate touring motorcycle.  It also intergates with the factory original equipment computer controlled preload adjustment system.  Called the 460 Series Shock, it is constructed using a steel body and hard chrome shaft to reduce wear of the years. 

Featuring a progressive rate spring, it delivers a ride the stock oem rear shock could never compare to and features an 18 click adjustable rebound adjustment, improved progressive spring and a rebuildable high pressure gas charged damper, while utilizing the bikes stock preload adjustment system.
