I wonder how far that is from Basingstoke?
we are North wales UK, Goldwingers and only joined GWCOGB this January 2008. Having a great year, been to 4 Wingdings and looking forward to our 1st British Treffin. See you all there! ride safe!
Almost 600 Goldwings attended, slightly lower than expected possibly due to the bad weather.
The Parade of Nations & the Light Parade were very well recieved by the Driffield people who turned out to line the streets greeting us riders with cheers & applause.
Imagine that... 600 Honda Goldwings & no two the same!!
2 seperate accidents over the weekend involved several Goldwings & one serious injury threatened to put a dampener on the fun but ALL parties involved insisted that the weekend continue as planned & most of the 'walking wounded' were back at the event literally plastered!
A brilliant event, well organised by the countless volunteers who deserve real praise for their efforts, especially as there were many last minute changes to camping pitch availability due to the formation of mini lakes around the designated sites.
Goldwings are not just motorcycles... they are a way of life!!
