Goldwing Trikes have lead to expansion into other brands as Lehman agrees to build for Harley Davidson and Victory.  Sales figures are up almost 400% for the company, resulting in the rapid expansion of their South Dakota Facility.

Dunlop Tire union workers went on strike October 5th 2006, at 16 plants in North America, making the supply of Goldwing tires far worse than ever, especially GL1800 tires.  Dunlop has the largest M/C tire market share in the USA, other companies raising production hope to change that.

The national shortage of Dunlop Elite 3 GL1800 Goldwing Tires here in the US may get worse before it gets better for Dunlop (Owned by Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co).  Dunlop is faced with a possible worker strike, if no agreements are reached within their union.
